Tanika needs a new cell phone so that she can make phone calls to schedule appointments for her and her new baby. She will have financial assistance setting up service for the phone but needs a phone. It has been difficult being a new mom and not having a phone. Having a phone will help her on her journey to adulthood and being independent.
Tanika is 20 years old and lives in GA
Tanika is a strong young woman who has overcome many obstacles in her young life and has experienced much sadness. She lost her mother at young age and was raised by her grandmother. She later lost her grandmother and had no other family to care for her so she had to come into foster care. She has had to move around a lot but still has kept a positive attitude and is committed to graduating high school. She is pregnant with her first child and wants to create a good life for herself and her child.
