Suzy spent the majority of her youth in foster care. From age 5 until age 18 she was in and out of numerous homes and felt relieved when she was able to emancipate. She couldn't wait to get out of the system and felt like anything would be better than staying in foster care, even being out on her own with no support system. She has been on her own ever since, doing her best to stay afloat financially. She has always wanted to finish school but without any assistance or family support it hasn't been a feasible goal. She would love to be able to take a break from work to go back to school, at least to freshen up on the basics, and then eventually go to culinary school. This is her ultimate dream since she is an awesome cook! Suzy loves cooking, hiking, and creating art work in her free time.

Suzy would be so grateful for support with gas money at a time when finances are super tight due to the pandemic. She just recently lost her job in child care due to the pandemic. She would be thrilled to fill up her gas tank and and not have her anxiety rise every time she sees 'E' on her dashboard when she's running out for essentials. This wish would be a huge help to make Suzy feel more secure this holiday season!
