Ayana is currently in the process of decorating her apartment and is in great need of blackout curtains. She lived on the first floor without blinds, so strangers see into her apartment which gets extremely uncomfortable for her. Black out curtains would really help with her overall comfortability and safety in her space.

Ayana is an amazing young woman who aged out of foster care in NYC. She has been living in her NYCHA apartment for 4 years now. She is currently working toward her Bachelors Degree, and plans to pursue her Graduate Degree in Social Work. She aspires to work in the child welfare system to help other children and young adults succeed. She is also an entrepreneur, starting businesses both to help foster youth and around her passion for cooking. She is a staunch advocate for youth in foster care, linking them to resources and assisting with things like resume writing and career planning.
