She tends to have some trouble regulating her emotions and behaviors at times but is working hard on some strategies to help. She loves to listen to music and dance. She is non-verbal but will make noise and "sing" and clap along with the music.
Katie has autism and often feels overstimulated and overwhelmed by her environment. When she has the chance, she loves to listen to music on a tablet. She always feels more relaxed when she has her music to focus on. She would love some bright pink headphones so she can listen quietly without disturbing other kiddos at school or in her resource home.
