A new mattress topper for Jamaya who has moved into her own apartment

Posted Feb 19, 2021
Jamaya has just moved out on her own and into her very first apartment. She is currently a full time college student and also works at a clothing store. Jamaya loves having her own apartment and living on her own. She has expressed that she is in need of a mattress topper. The mattress she has now was given to her from her previous foster parents. She is very appreciative of the mattress, but would like a mattress topper to soften it, since she has been experiencing some back pain from the hard mattress. Jamaya is a very hard worker and is currently working six days a week, in addition to going to college virtually. Jamaya has started putting aside a portion of money in each pay check, to save up for necessities for her new apartment, and receiving this mattress topper would be so helpful as she budgets for her living expenses.

Jamaya is 23 years old and lives in NJ

Jamaya was asked to leave her foster home, a place she had been living for three years, the day after her high school graduation. Jamaya has been in foster care since she was two, but was with her maternal grandmother until she was 14. She has no relationship with any of her family. She graduated from high school and has enrolled in college. Jamaya is working at a clothing store in the mall, and she looks forward to her bright future.
