New Tires for David to get back and forth to class safely

While driving down the freeway to class one day, David noticed something was off with his car. He took it to the closest Discount Tire where they broke the news that he is in desperate need of 4 new tires and that his car is currently extremely unsafe to drive. This was devastating news for David. He relies heavily on his car to get him back and forth to his classes. Without steady income or the ability to hold a job due to his full time school schedule and additional Actuary Courses, David is concerned he will not be able to continue his education without his car. Living off of financial aid is barely enough to get him through the month. David is a determined young man, and is excited for what his future holds.
David is 25 years old and lives in CA
Since the age of three, David has been in over six different foster homes. As tough as it was being bounced around, David attributes the foster care system to saving his life. He is a firm believer that if it were not for the system stepping in when they did he would either not be here or be on a very dark and terrible path. David’s time in care helped develop him into the young man he is today. He has completed his Economics Degree and is currently working towards his Art Minor as well as taking courses to become an Actuary. He can not wait to complete his courses and start his career. David is determined to not let his past define him in a negative way, and proves everyday success is what you make of it!

"To the donors of my new tires, I would like to send an enormous THANK YOU. Really, this was one of the kindest and most clutch things anybody has ever done for me. Despite the corona virus, I have actually been going through quite a downswing in life, completely separate from the pandemic. When my tires popped it seemed like everything bad was just happening to me. But, just like other times in life, I remember that you have to learn from your mistakes and get back up. This donation makes that lesson a little bit easier. I now have a warranty on all of my tires so that if this ever happens again, my tires will be repaired or replaced for free.
