Marnez is a very special boy with many needs. Marnez has Down Syndrome, Autism, and is non-verbal. Unfortunately, Marnez never had proper medical treatment or attention, otherwise he could have learned to speak or if not at least sign language. Marnez loves watching Disney Movies, listening to music, running and spending time outdoors. Marnez enjoys playing with his younger brother and older sister.

Marnez is a very special young boy with several medical needs. Marnez has Down Syndrome, Autism, and is non-verbal. At times, Marnez can be aggressive and requires redirection and de-escalation by his caregiver. Marnez was medically neglected for the most part of his life, until coming into care in July of 2020. Marnez is currently placed with his maternal grandmother who is also the primary caregiver for his younger brother. The family has numerous services for Marnez to help and preserve the placement. Unfortunately, at this time there are no relatives that are willing to help the grandmother with Marnez, not even to babysit him. The grandmother is not able to drive anywhere with Marnez unless she has an adult in the back seat with him. Marnez will unbuckle himself from a regular car seat. MORC suggested a special harness and car seat that could be ordered from Amazon that will help keep Marnez safe while traveling. With this new seat belt, Marnez will be safe in the car so he can go to medical appointments, the pharmacy and grocery stores.
