Dajour has been missing his family a lot recently. During the COVID crisis there have been more restrictions than ever before with visitation. He is only able to do virtual visits every other week. He currently does virtual visits on his foster mom's cell phone. Dajour would love a tablet so he can FaceTime his biological parents on his very own device. He will be so happy to use his own tablet for school work or for fun as well!
Dajour is 14 years old and lives in OH
Dajour is an amazing big brother. When he entered foster care with his six month old baby sister, it was clear he had been taking care of her almost all on his own. He was so focused on making sure his baby sister was eating, sleeping, and getting changed that is was hard for him to let go of those responsibilities and let his foster parents take care of her. Now he is learning to be a kid again, and getting the mental health services he needs.
