EJ's aunt and grandmother just went before a judge in order to obtain emergency kinship guardianship while EJ's primary caregiver is in the hospital with COVID-19 fighting for her life. EJ misses his mother so much and he has been feeling incredibly sad. He and his family are doing their best to remain hopeful and strong with everything going on but it's tough. While EJ stays with his aunt and grandmother, he will need to stock up on some new clothing for the spring and summer. He will also need new hygiene and personal essentials and even some cleaning supplies as EJ has also tested positive for COVID-19.
