Jamie had a tough time in foster care, and experienced homelessness when he aged out. He reflects that he had a really hard transition out of foster care, but he is so proud that he has stabilized himself through a lot of hard work. Jamie has a full time job, stable housing, and a community of friends who love him.

Jamie has experience multiple hurricanes and hurricane season is here again. He lives in Texas, and with how bad the weather is, Jamie feels like this would be an important part of his homes preparedness. It would be extremely helpful for him to have a device that can provide a lot of power should extended outages happen again. Jamie is hoping this will alleviate some stress and anxiety if they get hit with a hurricane again.
