Davion recently came back into care. Unfortunately, he has been in and out of the system since he was very young due to his mother's drug use. He is deeply hurt by his past trauma and states he just wants to live without being disrupted again. He enjoys music, sports and cooking. He has a medical challenge so he has to have dialysis three times a week. He says he used to be sad and depressed about it, but he now knows that if he follows the rules the doctors have laid out, he will be better soon and hopes to be placed on a transplant list. So he is happy that there is hope!

Davion would be very excited if his wish of getting a gift card to get new clothes for back to school. He says he wishes he could be "stylish" and wear name brand clothing. He said the only thing he remembers having that was name brand was a pair of used Nike tennis shoes. A new wardrobe for Davion would boost his self-esteem and get him excited about the first day in a new school, a new environment.
