Amyra was in foster care multiple times before she moved to her last foster home at the age of two. She had been severely neglected, and had multiple failed kinship placements. Her foster, now adoptive, mother had spent time in foster care as a child and wanted to give back to the community by fostering herself. Amyra loves to sing and dance. She likes volleyball, reading and playing Minecraft or Roblox.

Amrya has always shared a room with her sister, and now she has her very own space. She can't wait to decorate it just how she wants it to look, and she has picked out this fun purple rug to start sprucing up her room in style.
