Hope is at the age where learning life skills is very important as she only has a few more years until she becomes an adult. Learning the proper skills needed to transition into adulthood is crucial. Strengthening Families, Inc. is an incredible organization hosting this retreat full of activities designed to help teens build self-esteem and navigate gender-specific issues. The youth will undergo mentoring while going through the various activities including hiking, fishing, crafts, praise time, and other games. The goal is to break down barriers and open conversation. Hope will be paired with a mentor to help her learn how to become self sufficient as she gets older. She will have a great time bonding with her mentor while learning and having fun!
