Trevon currently resides in a therapeutic group home setting with other teens. Trevon has autism and is nonverbal so he communicates mainly with gestures or through technology. His house manager said that Trevon is the only one in the group home who does not have an iPad. The boys in the group home use their iPads for school and to interact with each other and play games. Trevon has been in foster care for ten years but due to his special needs, long-term planning has been a difficult process. He gets along well with the other boys in the group home and is excited about being in school again! This iPad will help him succeed this year and will help him communicate with his friends and teachers.
