Ireland is autistic and takes a lot of time to settle down at bed time. Her mother consulted her therapists and they recommended that she try a weighted blanket. Ireland's mother agrees this sounds like a good idea and could be very beneficial for Ireland. A good night of sleep will help Ireland feel rested and ready for her busy days!
Ireland is 11 years old and lives in NJ
Ireland is a bright young girl. She is trying hard in school. She struggles with some behavioral issues, and is working hard to try to get those under control. She says math is her favorite subject and her teachers say she excels in it. Ireland likes to play with her younger brothers and they love to go to the playground together.

"Hi Ireland! My name is Cindi and I have 4 kids, and one of my sons used to struggle with sleeping well, and that sometimes led to some tough, long days at school. So, his doctor recommended a weighted blanket, and he LOVED it!!! That was about 15 years ago and he just took his to college. BTW, I also sleep with a weighted blanket, and it really helps me at night too, because I have this thing called, "Restless Legs Syndrom", which means my legs always want to be moving or twitching.
