New Sneakers for Uyi who is working hard to stabilize himself

It has been a while since Uyi was able to prioritize himself and buy some new clothes and shoes. Sneakers in his size tend to be expensive, and his current pair are getting very worn out. He is going through a lot right now, and it would be great to lift his spirits by surprising him with a Footlocker gift card to purchase new sneakers that will fit him well.
Uyi is 25 years old and lives in NY
Uyi left foster care around 2014/15, being discharged to family via a kinship placement. Unfortunately, this did not go well and by 2017 Uyi was residing in a homeless shelter. He remained there for about a year before moving to Binghamton to attend college. Uyi is not currently still in school due to his lack of a strong support system, but was linked to our agency in the hopes of locating housing back in NYC where our nonprofit, and others, can better assist him on his path to success.
