She has straight A's and her goal is to get straight A's all throughout her high school career; specifically because she wants to be a good role model for her three younger siblings. She is already planning for college and is very active on campus. She is creative and clever, with an interest in music and poetry.
Like most children throughout the pandemic, Laney was attending school through distance learning on her chromebook. Unfortunately, Laney's school-provided chromebook broke down and she is no longer able to use it. Because of this, Laney has to pay her school $200 for the damages and for a new chromebook, which her foster parents are unable to cover. A new chromebook is necessary for her education and this support will allow her to pay the debt she owes to her school as well.
