A treadmill for Alma to stay healthy and workout at home

CSULB - Guardian Scholars ProgramAlma is a single mother of two and currently attends CSULB. She is in their social work program and is on track to graduate Spring 2022. Alma is currently taking five classes and doing an internship. Her goal is to become a Social Worker so she can help other children like her succeed in the foster care system. She plans on applying to the MSW program after she saves enough money to further her education. She has a passion for foster youth and plans on becoming a foster parent when she is established in her career.
Alma’s wish is to have a foldable treadmill. She would be able to practice self-care and still be able to care for her children without having to stress over how she would pay for a sitter and a gym membership. In juggling being a full-time student and mother, the treadmill will ease her stress. Having a foldable treadmill will allow her to put it away when her children are around to avoid them getting hurt.
