She entered foster care due to her parent's history of domestic violence and drug use, but she is now safe in a foster home where she is being loved and cared for. Kailee has been meeting her developmental milestones, has started to smile back at others, and loves to interact with her foster family.
Kailee is working to develop her language and these books will help with that and in turn help decrease the hitting she is doing. Expressing herself verbally will help ease these behaviors and these books will help her develop these skills.
