Joanna entered foster care as a toddler, and bounced around through more than 60 placements before she aged out as an adult. Even though her experience in foster care was very difficult, she looks back on those times as shaping her into the strong, independent woman she is today. Joanna is committed to fighting for the voiceless, donates her time to helping the homeless population in Matamoros, Mexico, and runs her own thrift shop.

Joanna has dedicated herself to her little boy, and to breaking the generational cycles that have destroyed her family. Birthdays and holidays fall all to her, and she needs a bit of help this year. Joanna is hoping to give her son this super water table because he is fascinated by water and she knows he will have the best time playing with it. It will really help her out to have it under the tree for him.
