She needs everything for her kitchen, including a microwave, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. This wish will go a long way in helping Yvonne and her kids to settle in their new home. Even though they are starting over, they are safe and together for the holidays, and that's all that matters.

Being in foster care has made Yvonne work extremely hard so she can provide a better life for her kids than she had growing up. She was lucky enough to have a great caseworker who helped her mom gain custody of her younger siblings back, but Yvonne aged out of foster care without being reunited with her mom and siblings. She has a great work ethic and prides herself on being resilience in the face of obstacles.
