She jumps at any chance to express her creativity, and enjoys working with younger children who share this passion. After years in foster care, young adulthood has presented many challenges, but she is working toward independence and self-sufficiency.
As a new mom, Lara finds it hard to think about herself and her own needs these days. But she would love to be able to pick out a warm puffer coat and winter boots to be prepared for the snow that she knows is coming soon. As the holiday approaches, checking these two items off of her list would provide her great joy and relief.
