Foster Alumni MentorsLeah is a driven, responsible young woman who is a natural leader and has big plans to change the world one person at a time. Leah was in foster care for several years, during that time she finished high school and went to live with her brother to start college. Her passion is social work and helping others by hopefully making changes in the foster care system and helping those that aren't old enough to help themselves. She loves the outdoors including hiking, biking and just being in the fresh air.
Leah is a hard working student. She is currently enrolled in college, working on her Bachelor's degree while working a job, too! She never takes the time to treat herself because she wants to make sure her bills are paid and she is doing well. Leah had mentioned she would love to pamper herself but never has the ability to. This would bring her so much joy to know that she can relax for a little bit and destress from all the worries she has.
