Luz has taken in her nephew and is raising him on her own. She is trying to break the generational cycles of foster care in her family. Luz would love to get some last minute Christmas decorations for her apartment, so she and her nephew can have some Christmas cheer and joy.
Luz is 31 years old and lives in CA
Luz entered foster care thirteen years ago feeling broken, abandoned, and hurt. Today Luz is a full-time student pursuing her Master's degree at UC Berkeley. Luz is a firm believer that we are all unique and have our own purposes in the world. Luz's purpose is a to build a community full of powerful and determined foster youth, and uplift one another to success.
