Amyra was in foster care multiple times before she moved to her last foster home at the age of two. She had been severely neglected, and had multiple failed kinship placements. Her foster, now adoptive, mother had spent time in foster care as a child and wanted to give back to the community by fostering herself. Amyra loves to sing and dance. She likes volleyball, reading and playing Minecraft or Roblox.

Amyra loves, loves, loves to read! She has since she was a little girl. She finally has her own room, and she loves to settle down and pick out her next great read. She can't wait to go to Barnes and Noble with her sister and look through the aisles. Amyra is hoping to get a few fun books to read over winter break.
