City Living NYNaya is an incredibly resilient and determined young woman. She is a single mother who lives in a NYCHA apartment in Brooklyn, NY, and is doing her best to care for her 2 year old daughter. Naya has left foster care within the last year and is trying her best to manage independent living, all while balancing a cardiovascular condition and parenting alone. She has been incredibly skilled at managing her money and time, but deserves a little extra help with all the challenges she faces on a daily basis.
Naya has been on public assistance and SNAP benefits for a few years, but sometimes has difficulty getting her benefits while she is in the process of re-applying. She is need of an emergency supply of food for her and her daughter while she waits for her benefits to be sorted out. Naya would greatly appreciate a helping hand right now.
