Luz is currently in the process of working towards her master's degree. Last semester she maintained a 4.0 grade point average. She has reached out to us for some support for this semester to purchase much needed books, notebooks, pencils, and other supplies. With this wish Luz will be able to focus her attention on her studies and relive a bit of the financial burden that is associated with college.
Luz is 31 years old and lives in CA
Luz entered foster care thirteen years ago feeling broken, abandoned, and hurt. Today Luz is a full-time student pursuing her Master's degree at UC Berkeley. Luz is a firm believer that we are all unique and have our own purposes in the world. Luz's purpose is a to build a community full of powerful and determined foster youth, and uplift one another to success.
