City Living NYLav is a former foster care youth who currently resides in their own studio apartment in NYC public housing. Lav attends school full-time and is working on getting their Bachelor’s degree this year. Lav is an animal lover who occasionally takes in cats to give them a home. They are a very passionate and hardworking individual who is dedicated to making a better life for themselves.
Lav recently became a teacher assistant working with preschool and kindergarten age children. They have taken to the job and hopes to find her career in early education. They have some items that would benefit the classroom, but that they are unable to get with their limited salary. Please help Lav design the classroom of their dreams, with alphabet and numbers posters, a calendar, and age appropriate puzzles for their little learners!
