Eric was recently let go from his job because he has a rare medical condition that affects his walking. He was very upset about this due to finally finding a job he enjoys going to. Eric is not going to let his medical condition to get in the way of him finding employment, and he is motivated to show not only to the people that say he is not able to work, but to himself, that he is able to do it. Due to him not having a current job, and with the rise of gas prices, he needs some support with gas costs to get to his job interviews. Eric knows there are many people struggling with the rise in gas prices, but he is hoping he can get some relief during this hard time.
Eric is 23 years old and lives in CA
Eric is an amazing and resilient young man who knows how to advocate for his needs. Eric faced many obstacles during his up bringing but never allowed those barriers to get in his way of achieving his goals. Eric was enrolled into HVAC program but recently started feeling that he does not want to continue that career path. Eric has found himself confused about his career path. His ILS case manager enrolled time into an On Track program that can assist him with explore different trade programs and stable employment. At times has expressed being stress lately with no longer having a stable income.
