New Clothes for Jorel who is being bullied
Posted Apr 18, 2022
Jorel and his sister are struggling to fit in with their American peers. Jorel told his caseworker that he is being bullied at school regarding his clothing and overall cultural differences; such as he is not used to wearing socks and shoes so he’s been wearing shoes with no socks. They also make fun of him because all of his clothes are used, donated clothes. His parents are employed and are making ends meet; however, feel bad for their son and cannot afford a whole new wardrobe at this time. Jorel desperately wants to fit in and learn how to be “American.”
Division of Child Protection and Permanency requests this wish for Jorel.
One Simple Wish posts the wish to the website.
