A Play Space to keep Makai's son safe

Makai was recently awarded a Section 8 voucher that she can use towards an apartment for her and her son. After living in foster care and group homes for most of her life, Makai is overjoyed as she will finally have a place she can call her own and watch her son grow! Makai needs support in setting up her apartment, so it feels like home. She would love a small table with chairs for her son so he can have his own space to draw and play.
Makai is 21 years old and lives in PA
Makai is a young woman who came into care a few years ago. She is incredibly smart, funny, and aware of who she is and what she wants. She’s is also an incredible self-advocate. Makai is a young mother to her son, Nova. Makai works really hard in hopes of creating a better life for her son.
