Kurtis is a young man who has struggled in the foster system being placed in numerous homes and not lasting long at any of them. At a recent placement it was noticed that he has a wonderful voice for singing and wants to start playing the guitar. Being a kid is finding out what we like as well as what we don’t like and being given the opportunity to do that. Whether Kurtis becomes successful in music or not is not as important as letting him go down this path and see where it goes. Kurtis loves to engage in conversation with anyone at any age. He can freely talk on about most topics young people his age enjoy, like sports and girls as well as on more sophisticated topics of purpose in life and self reflecting on one’s journey and determining areas to work on. With this ability, his charming personality, and eagerness to explore challenges, Kurtis will be successful in life.

Kurtis has shown interest in learning how to play guitar. He has asked for an acoustic guitar to start him on his musical journey. He has a rough time of things lately and this will really help give him a boost.
