Skateboarding is a great, fun sport. However, like most sports, gear is essential not only for performance but also for safety. Araya would love to be able to go boarding with her friends, but needs a helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads before she can do so safely.
Araya is 10 years old and lives in CO
Araya is a very smart and sweet girl who is in the top 3 in her class. She’s very polite and has a great sense of humor. She’s also a great big sister. Araya found her dad’s old skateboard a few weeks ago and was immediately hooked! She has gotten quite good and practices every day after school. She wants to keep practicing so that she can go to the skate park and use the ramps.
