Cary aged out of foster care after graduating high school, and has been making it on her own ever since. She had multiple placements in foster care, but her last foster family was very caring and loved her like she was their own child. Fortunately, she is still in touch with them and they are a positive support system in her life. Cary is a devoted mom to her autistic son.

Cary and her son are all on their own, and Cary deals with a significant number of issues. Her son is autistic, and has multiple sensory and behavioral issues. Cary has come to One Simple Wish for help with getting her and her son some new clothes and shoes for the summer months. Due to her son's sensory disorder, he can only wear specific types of textures and clothing materials. Cary's shoes have completely worn out, and now have developed holes. This wish will truly help them get through this tough time, and they deeply appreciate the support.
