A YMCA Membership for Jiovanni who wants to attend their Counselor in Training Program this summer

NAFI Rhode Island, Inc.Jiovanni is a funny and outgoing teenager who loves making others laugh. Jiovanni recently entered foster care and has adjusted to his new environment quickly. He isn't a fan of school, but attends daily and has received lots of praise from his teachers this year. Jiovanni is able to make friends quickly and has a variety of interests. He enjoys anime, and playing video games in his free time.
Jiovanni is asking for a 6 month membership to the YMCA so that he can participate in their Counselor in Training Program this summer. Jiovanni is an excellent role model for the younger kids in the program and he enjoys teaching them new things. He is really excited to have the opportunity to one day become their go-to counselor. Having a membership will also allow him to go to the YMCA over the weekend to stay active, play basketball or go swimming.

He also recently learned he will be moving to a kinship home that he has been advocating for since entering foster care. The YMCA he will attend will be closer to his new community and he will be able to meet up with his friends to play basketball or swim.
