Alexa is an independent teenager girl who has been caring for herself for over a year now after experiencing homelessness. Alexa is strong willed, courageous, and has a strength that many children do not have. She is resourceful, kind and gentle soul who wants to help others. Alexa did not attend school due to her lack of housing but since in Division custody, Alexa has expressed that she wants to be in school, attend prom and do things that other kids her age. Alexa is deserving of so much more than she has received in life and she rarely asks for anything. She would be so grateful for this opportunity to learn a new and valuable life skill.

Alexa is in need of sunglasses to protect her eyes during the summer. She loves being outside and enjoying the weather. Alexa loves spending time with friends and is looking forward to the summer. With this wish Alexa will be able to go out side and shield her eye from UV rays.
