An Interactive Toy to support Hunter continue to learn how to read
Hunter, 13 years old
Wish submitted by:
Woodfords Family ServicesHunter is an amazing young boy who recently moved into a foster home with his younger sister for the first time. Hunter has never been separated from his family and has had an incredibly difficult time adjusting to this change, especially with the holidays. Hunter transitioned to a new school and he is very eager to learn. He loves math! Although he struggles at times with reading and writing he will never stop asking questions and will even ask for extra homework. Hunter is a very polite, well-mannered young boy. His smile, along with his silly jokes will make anyone want to spend more time with him!
Hunter has missed a few years of school when he was younger which has significantly impacted his ability to read and write. Hunter recently finished his school year and will be attending summer school. Hunter is eager to learn and can become easily frustrated and/or upset because he has a hard time keeping up with other peers in his class. Hunter would greatly benefit from this learning device and has expressed his interest in learning more when at home and outside of the school setting!
