Cary is a single mom to her son Malcom, who is autistic. It is really difficult for her to get back and forth to the laundromat with their clothes because Malcom has many sensory issues, and he hates the sounds of the loud washers and dryers. Having access to a washing machine in her apartment will be a life-saver for Cary, and she knows that she will be sending her son to school in fresh, clean clothes everyday. Cary didn't always have that growing up, and remembers being embarrassed by the condition of her clothes.
