Zaria started at a brand new school this year because she had to move.
She was very excited to start her first day of school and made many new friends. Zaria has grown quite a bit of the summer and out grew most of her clothing and shoes. Zaria loves to play basketball and hopes to be able to try out for the team at her new school. She loves Dr. Martens and asked for a pair, especially because many of her classmates also wear Dr. Martens and she would love to fit in with her new friends
Zaria is 13 years old and lives in VA
Zaria is a very bright young lady who recently entered foster care, with a lots of anxiety. She is currently receiving supports to help her manage her anxiety. Zaria likes to focus on the things she loves like scented candles, nail art, reading, the color blue, fidget toys, journaling, and colorful lights. Zaria is new to foster care so this is a very confusing time for her but she is doing her best to stay positive.
