Santa Clara Kinship Adoptive Foster Parent AssociationMichelle is unique. Beautiful in her ways, character and charming personality. She loves singing, playing mom and family dress ups and express her abilities to be older. She loves making you laugh. She is the middle child, lives with 2 other siblings, and another older child, very responsible for her age & a total sweetheart, she came to live with us in 2016. Michelle has had to face the loss of her mom at a young age of 4. She still chooses to have a positive outlook at life, she remains hopeful for a better future and she knows that her mom is always with her. She loves school and she looks forward to it every single day, its her happy place to be. She loves Math its her favorite subject, she also wants to play soccer when she gets older. She wants to go to college and become a math teacher, her goal when she is older is to help kids who are struggling with math.
Michelle's old mattress broke, and she has to share a bed with her older sister. She's very uncomfortable and she can barely fit and is not sleeping well. She looks forward to school every morning, however, with her not sleeping well, she has fallen asleep in class. Lately I have noticed that she is really sleepy throughout the day. Constantly falling asleep in her class room and car, things she's never done before. This started happening as soon as she broke her mattress. This will help Michelle by her having her own mattress again so that she can gets a full nights sleep, wake up with energy ready for school.
