Shawnnae is working so hard to stay financially afloat after aging out of foster care. Her public assistance has been turned off for over two months, and in addition to applying for jobs and getting little to no response, Shawnnae is understandably frustrated and feeling defeated. This gift card for groceries will help Shawnnae to bridge the gap for the next two weeks, put healthy, yummy meals on her table, and have a little more hope for the future.

Shawnnae is a pleasant young woman who recently transitioned out of the foster care system and is currently living in her own apartment. It is no surprise that adulthood is coming to a bit of a shock to her as she's learning how to live independently. She works part time at a store and is engaged in the City Living program.
