Kaylanie is an amazing young woman who tries to be very independent. She has suffered a lot of trauma throughout her lifetime and has very limited support. Growing up in foster care and in and out of different family member homes, she is still trying to make something out of herself. She is a senior in high school this year and is struggling with her work. She doesn’t have a computer or laptop to be able to complete a lot of her assignments at home. She wants to graduate on time but has a long list of requirements to fulfill including volunteer hours. She does not have transportation to get to the library to use their computers. She tries to complete many of her assignments on her phone, but the screen is cracked so it’s hard for her to see. Her wish is that she is able to graduate on time and become a nurse one day. It would be of great help to if she had the necessary equipment needed as soon as possible. She will be so excited to have the flexibility to do her work wherever she is at, and the support to help her graduate on time.
