Desirea is attending Trendy Nailz where she is studying to become a Nail Technician, and is also working towards a degree in early childhood education. She works long days at Starbucks too, and has two sons and continues to strive for a better future for her family.

Desirea is loving her job at Starbucks, though the early mornings can sometimes be tough for her. Her son recently had a terrible virus, with very high fevers, and she was unable to take him to daycare. Due to a lack of childcare, Desirea had to take an unpaid leave of absence from work. With this drop in her monthly income, Desirea has found herself in a situation where she is unable to pay her rent for the month. This wish will cover Desirea's rent and give her some financial security going into next month. Her son is all better and back to daycare, so she is hopeful she can stay on track with her finances.
