Devin is an amazing young man. At the beginning of placement in foster care, he had difficulties going out in public to such places as the grocery store and would have a huge meltdown. Since receiving therapy, he has started to thrive. Now, he has learned to enjoy outings at the grocery store and other places. Devin enjoys interacting with the other children in the resource home. He loves telling jokes and genuinely enjoys talking with them. He thrives with social interaction and has come so far.

Devin is behind in his reading level and he normally does not want to read books. However, he read the first Dog Man book and discovered that he enjoys reading, especially Dog Man books. He is behind several grades in his reading level. It was thrilling to see that he was able to talk about the book in details. If he has more books, he will improve in his reading level. This awesome book set will get him the whole series to read all year long!
