Jahara is a 14-year-old teenager who loves working out, being outdoors, and wants to go to school for marine biology someday! She entered foster care at 8 and has been bounced between quite a few homes before being placed in a therapeutic environment. It took her a while to open up given the nature of her trauma, but is now making strides in her healing process! Jahara has been living in one of our agency’s professional parent homes for about 8 months and is working through her trauma from being abused and neglected.
