Kesha came into the foster care system due to medical neglect. She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and there was no follow up on her treatment. Kesha is currently placed in a home with her older sister who is only 22 years old. She does a great job providing a home, ensuring doctor's visits are kept and helping Kesha with school. Kesha has been working hard on losing weight and has done a terrific job reaching her goal weight. However, she desperately needs new clothing. Her CASA feels a gift card to Wal-Mart would help her find clothing that fits and would also be used for job interviews. Kesha is looking for a summer job so that she can pay for her senior activities next year so that she won't have to burden her sister with additional financial responsibility.
