Gretchen aged out of foster care two years ago. Since graduating from college, she's worked in DC to improve the foster care system. She has wanted to become an attorney since she was young, but never thought she could because she didn't know anyone like her who had become an attorney. But her time in DC has shown her that lawyers come from all walks of life, and she's even met former foster youth who have gone on to become lawyers!
