Child Impacted By Hurricane Harvey, 17 years old, TX
Hurricane Harvey has devastated Texas. In areas like Houston, the city has been overtaken by more than 30 inches of rain and so many families and children are struggling to find a path to take forward; having lost everything in the storm. Texas Gov Greg Abbott is calling the storm “one of the largest disasters America has ever faced,” and has said the region would not recover anytime soon. One Simple wish is working with community partners in areas like Houston who were impacted most by the storm to offer support and hope from across the country on their journey to recovery
