Kayla is developmentally delayed and suffers from trauma related to family dysfunction. In spite of this, she faithfully attended school and received a general diploma of completion. Today, Kayla is living in group home with other youth and she has her own bedroom. She has a part-time job at McDonald's and loves to see her "friends" when she goes to work.
