Alayla and her brother have been living with their grandmother for a while and are doing very well. She is so happy to be in a stable home, and her grandma is doing her best to make sure that Alayla's emotional and developmental needs are met. It seems less likely recently that she will ever have the chance to go back with her mom, and Alayla is hoping for permanency.
